Endgame Esports is running a Term 4 Digital Design Club for ages 10 and up. Running in weeks 2-8 of Term 4, these 1-hour sessions are fun, interactive, and educational. Explore real-time software design and development using electronic game design as a foundation. Work on your own digital video game project while learning awesome design and software skills. Topics covered include coding, time management, and software utilization for project completion.

Let’s take a closer look at what we’ll be exploring in the course:

– Basic controls: Master the art of controlling the digital space you create, and navigating through different design scenarios.
– Use of colliders and object interactions: Learn how to make objects interact within a digital environment.
– Basic script use: Use code scripts to make your designs and projects more interactive and dynamic.
– Create and use a Heads-Up Display (HUD): Discover how to create and implement a HUD to enhance a user’s game experience.
– Button interaction and User Interface (UI): Learn how to incorporate buttons and create a user-friendly interface for your game.
– Leave with a basic game that you made yourself: By the end of the course, you’ll have created your very own racing game. How cool is that?
